The Apple Watch Series 7, which was unveiled last month, is finally available for purchase in India. The Apple Watch Series 7 has a bigger display, smaller bezels, and faster charging speeds compared to the Apple Watch Series 6. The new wearable comes in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm. It is powered by Apple’s in-house S7 chipset which is almost a rebadged version of the S6 chipset that was used in the Apple Watch Series 6.
The Apple Watch Series 7 retains similar sensors and features as that of last year’s Watch Series 6. It has an accelerometer, barometer, blood oxygen saturation sensor, ECG, fall detection, gyro, heart rate sensor. It has an IPX6 certified body for dust and water resistance, It can track sleep as well. Its connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and the U1 chip for UWB (Ultra Wideband) connectivity.
Apple Watch Series 7 Price In India, Availability
The Apple Watch Series 7 price in India starts at ₹41,900 (for 41mm Aluminium GPS versions) and goes as high as ₹73,900 (for 45mm Stainless Steel GPS+Cellular versions). The Apple Watch Series 7 will go on sale in India via Apple Authorised Distributors, offline retail stores, and various online marketplaces. The Apple Watch Series 7 comes in Blue, Green, Midnight, Red, and Starlight colour variants.
Users can get ₹3,000 cashback on using an HDFC Bank credit card or through EMI transactions on an HDFC Bank debit or credit card. Additionally, some stores will provide an additional exchange discount of up to ₹9,000 to existing Apple Watch users.

Apple Watch Series 7 Specifications, Features
The Apple Watch Series 7 comes with a bigger display compared to its predecessor. It has 40% slimmer bezels compared to the Apple Watch Series 6. The case size of the Watch Series 7 has also been increased. The other specifications remain similar to that of the last year’s model which includes Retina LTPO OLED Display with Always-on Display capability and variable refresh rate (1Hz to 60Hz).
Apple has not changed the processor this time. Although the processor is now named S7 instead of the S6 used in the Watch Series 6, it is the same processor with a new name. The new wearable has 1GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
Other functionalities of the Apple Watch Series 7 remain similar to the Watch Series 6, which includes an accelerometer, barometer, blood oxygen saturation sensor, gyro sensor, ECG, fall detection, heart rate sensor, and sleep tracking. It has GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC. The smartwatch has an IPX6 rating for dust and water resistance. Similar to the last year’s Apple Watch Series 6, the Series 7 has a U1 chip for UWB (Ultra Wideband) connectivity.
Apple claims that the Watch Series 7 can last for about 18 hours on a single charge. The smartwatch provides 33% faster charging compared to the Apple Watch Series 6.
