If the latest report is to be believed, Apple is all set to announce the next-generation iPhone SE this year. While there is no official confirmation about the same, Apple is expected to announce the iPhone SE successor at an event on March 8.

Analyst John Donovan says that the new iPhone SE could start at $300, which is $99 less than the base price of the iPhone SE (2020). However, if another analyst, Daniel Ives is to be believed, Apple will stick with the same $399 base price. At the same time, Ives does not rule out the possibility of a drop in price.
The new iPhone SE, which is tipped to be called the iPhone SE+ 5G (or the iPhone SE 3), is expected to come with 5G support, a new and improved camera, and an A15 Bionic processor. However, the new device will stick to the same old design. Alongside the third-generation iPhone SE, Apple is expected to announce the fifth-generation iPad Air as well.
