ASUS Zenfone 9 Specifications, Renders Revealed Through Official Product Video

Back in January this year, ASUS had rolled out the stable Android 12 update for the Zenfone 8 and the Zenfone 8 Flip. The update had revealed key specifications of the Zenfone 9 back then. Now, in a recent development, more specifications of the upcoming ASUS Zenfone 9 have been leaked courtesy of ASUS itself. As per the details shared by Techgoing, ASUS had uploaded the official video of the Zenfone 9 on its YouTube channel. The video, which is now taken down, has confirmed almost all the specifications of the Zenfone 9.

ASUS Zenfone 9 Specifications Leaked

As per the leaked details, the upcoming ASUS Zenfone 9 will feature a 5.9-inch Samsung AMOLED display. The display panel will have a Full HD+ resolution, a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will come equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The back of the device will include a dual-camera setup. The camera module will include a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor which will have a six-axis gimbal stabilization. The device will also have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The fingerprint sensor will have ZenTouch support which will work as a slider to scroll a page while browsing. It will also feature a 3.5mm audio jack.

The device will have an IP68 water resistance rating, a 3.5mm audio jack, and dual stereo speaker support. The company will also offer a phone case with a kickstand along with the device. The handset will be equipped with a 4,300mAh battery which, no doubt, will support fast charging. Similar to its predecessor, the Zenfone 9 will debut in red, white, black, and blue colourways.

As of now, neither the ASUS Zenfone 9 launch date nor its pricing details are known to us. However, now that the official product video has been revealed accidentally by ASUS, we can expect its launch to take place soon.
