Just a few days back, OPPO rolled out the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update for the OPPO F17 and the OPPO A73 smartphones. Today, the brand has announced the release details of ColorOS 12 for more devices. As per the information shared by the Chinese smartphone maker, two A-series phones, two Reno series smartphones, and one K-series device is eligible for the stable update, starting from June 25. Additionally, the brand will roll out Android 12 for one F-series smartphone this month.
Let us have a look at the devices that are eligible for the new ColorOS 12 software update.
OPPO Reno7 5G, A96, OPPO K10, OPPO Reno 10x Zoom, And More To Receive Android 12 Update
If we go by the details shared by OPPO, smartphones such as the OPPO Reno7 5G, OPPO A96, and OPPO K10 will start receiving the stable ColorOS 12 from June 15. On June 28 and 29, the brand will start releasing the ColorOS 12 for the Reno 10x Zoom and OPPO A76 respectively. Additionally, the brand will release the ColorOS 12 beta update for the OPPO F21 Pro 5G in India and to Reno7 Z 5G in Indonesia on June 23.
The stable Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update will be rolled out in batches and it will take a few days to reach all users. To check for the software update, you will have to head over to the Settings app and check the software update section. OPPO notes that due to certain hardware limitations on a few devices, the multi-screen Connect and Omoji feature will only be available in select devices. The brand also clarified that the update rollout is not applicable on carrier-exclusive models, instead, it will be rolled out to everyone.
