On Monday, Microsoft announced that it is adding FPS Boost to 74 more games on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. For those who are unaware of the FPS Boost feature, it allows Xbox One games to run at a higher frame rate on Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S. The titles that were locked at 30fps on Xbox One can run at 60fps on the Xbox Series X/S, with some games also hitting up to 120fps.
Interestingly, this feature doesn’t require game developers to make any changes to the game. Microsoft is adding the FPS Boost support to Xbox One games from its end. Moreover, the FPS Boost gets enabled by default for the supported games; you don’t need to tinker with the settings.
