Samsung has started teasing its new Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphone. The South Korean giant has also revealed the launch date of its new generation of foldable devices. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4 at Samsung’s “Unpacked” event scheduled for August 10, 2022.

In the image above, you can see the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 in Phantom black, beige, and grey green. In the image below, you can see the Galaxy Z Flip 4 device in four shades namely grey, purple, gold, and light blue. Blass has promised to reveal more images of the new foldable devices covering the side and rear angles.
Slashleaks, along with Pricebaba, has also shared a render of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, revealing its front and rear design. It comes with rounded edges and vertically stacked triple rear cameras.
Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4: Expectations
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is expected to sport a 7.6-inch QXGA+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The outer display will be a 6.2-inch AMOLED with HD+ resolution. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, which debuted with the Asus ROG Phone 6 series. It will be equipped with up to 16GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.
Talking about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone, it will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz screen refresh rate. The cover screen is expected to be a slightly bigger 2.1-inch Super AMOLED panel. The handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, just like its sibling. In terms of optics, it will be equipped with a dual camera setup at the rear and a selfie camera housed in a punch-hole camera cutout on the foldable display. The new iteration of the Galaxy Z Flip is expected to pack in a larger 3,700mAh battery pack as opposed to 3,300mAh on the older Galaxy Z Flip 3. It is also set to get faster 25W charging compared to the previous 15W.
