Just this month, Google announced that the Google Nest Hub will be getting Google Fit and Fitbit integration. The firm later showcased its Pixel Watch, replete with Fitbit integration, at its annual I/O event. Now, this capability is being rolling out widely to Google Assistant as well.
You can get the latest update by heading over to Assistant settings > Wellness > Activity on your device. Although you can you can connect both Google Fit and Fitbit apps with Google Assistant, you will be allowed to keep only one service active at a time.

Moreover, it will be permitted to view your heart rate data and track your location. You will also be shown a “Proactive health & fitness results” option.
According to 9to5Google, although these fitness metrics are not being displayed proactively on Smart Displays, a future update could bring this functionality. The second-gen Nest Hub, which recently gained Fitbit integration, features a Wellness tab that displays your health statistics. The Pixel Watch’s Fitbit integration offers features such as fitness tracking, stats, progress, and personal fitness goals.
Google is making headway when it comes to carving a niche for itself in the fitness tracker space. The search giant acquired Fitbit last year to widen its reach in the fitness market. And just recently, the firm revealed its Pixel Watch with Fitbit integration.
