Google launched the “Fast Pair,” which is currently used by many devices in the industry, to pair devices rapidly. A device may basically be switched between and paired with various devices, although occasionally this can be problematic. To combat this, Google is launching audio switching, a brand-new technique that will work in conjunction with the Pixel Buds Pro’s existing Fast Pair feature as well as future devices.
At I/O 2022, Google showed off a version of this. Today, Google has confirmed that the Pixel Buds Pro will be able to switch between devices instantly without the need for settings menus. The audio output will automatically alter based on the kind of notification on the linked devices thanks to this function.

Audio switching is available between Android devices to start, with plans to expand to more of your favorite platforms and devices over time.”
The company has included options to allow users to manually switch as they are aware that auto-switching may not be suitable for everyone. Google will start to roll out Bluetooth multipoint audio switching across Android phones and tablets for the new Pixel Buds Pro. In the upcoming weeks, some Sony and JBL headphones will also receive an update to their audio switching technology.
