WhatsApp provides backup support for both iOS and Android users. At present, Android users get unlimited Google Drive storage for backing up their data. However, with Google planning on limiting the storage space on drive, backing up data could pose a problem to users. While there is no information about the exact storage limit to be provided on Google Drive, this could be over the existing 15GB free storage available.
