Google is preparing to host its annual developer event on May 11-12 this year. Reliable tipster Jon Prosser claims that the tech giant may release the Pixel 6a at the same event. Google will reportedly launch it in select regions from July 28. Besides, the event may also see the company offer a peek at the Pixel Watch, which is set to be announced along with the Pixel 7 series in October this year.

Previously, tipster ShadowLeak had claimed that the Google Pixel 6a could sport a 6.2-inch OLED display which will supposedly have Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The device may be powered by a Google Tensor GS101 processor. Additionally, the smartphone might come with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The base variant may feature 6GB of RAM.
The Google Pixel 6a may sport a 12MP main camera with an ultrawide lens, which might include a Sony IMX363 sensor. The handset is expected to have an 8MP selfie camera.
