The Google Pixel 7 series of smartphones has popped up on the REL Canada Certification website ahead of its October launch. The listing reveals the official moniker and model numbers of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

Meanwhile, the Pixel 7 Pro will have model numbers GE2AE and GP4BC. Besides the model numbers, the listing does not reveal any key specs of the upcoming smartphones.
Ever since Google previewed the Pixel 7 series at its I/O event, various leaks have been popping up online. Prolific tipster Jon Prosser expects the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro to launch on October 6 across the world. He states that the device will be available for pre-order on October 6, with deliveries and open sales commencing on October 13.
Google Pixel 7 Series: Expected Specifications, Features
There’s no need for speculation as far as the design of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are concerned, since Google had already showcased the smartphones at I/O 2022. Furthermore, the company had also offered a look at the back camera module and colour options of the device.
According to rumours, the Pixel 7 is expected to be powered by Google’s Tensor SoC. It will likely come with Android 13 out of the box.
As for the display, the Pixel 7 series could inherit some features from its predecessor. The Pixel 7 Pro could feature a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Meanwhile, the Pixel 7 could sport a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
Both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will sport a 50MP primary sensor. The smartphones will also come with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, similar to that of the Pixel 6 series. Additionally, they could feature an 11MP selfie camera with dual pixels.
