Honor has taken the wraps off three new Honor 70 series of smartphones in its home country, China. The Honor 70, Honor 70 Pro, and the Honor 70 Pro+ handsets succeed the Honor 60 series of smartphones, which were launched in 2021. The Honor 70 Pro and the Honor 70 Pro+ feature identical designs, build, and cameras, but come with different internals.

Honor 70 Pro+, Honor 70 Pro: Features, Specifications
The Honor 70 Pro + and the Honor 70 Pro smartphones come with premium metal and glass sandwich designs. They come with quad curved displays to enhance the appeal further. The rear camera array gets a redesign and the rear panel comes with a unique reflective diamond pattern.
Both smartphones sport 6.78-inch 10-bit OLED panels with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, and peak brightness of 1000 nits. The Honor 70 Pro+ is powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9000 chipset built on the 4nm fabrication process. The Honor 70 Pro gets the Dimensity 8000 SoC (System on Chip) built on a 5nm node. These devices come equipped with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage options.

It is accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide + macro sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP telephone snapper with 3x optical zoom and OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). Selfie aficionados would be excited as they come with a 50MP front-facing camera with a wide 100-degree field of view.
Connectivity features include 5G SA/NSA, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C. The handsets are powered by 4,500mAh battery packs under their hoods coupled with 100W fast charging tech. Honor says you can get up to 60 percent charge in 15 minutes and a full charge in under 30 minutes.
Honor 70 Pro+, Honor 70 Pro: Price, Availability
The Honor 70 Pro+ starts at CNY 4,300 (approx. ₹50,000) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version can be purchased for CNY 4,600 (approx. ₹53,500). It will go on sale in China on June 16, 2022.
The Honor 70 Pro comes at a starting price of CNY 3,700 (approx. ₹43,100) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and goes up to CNY 4,400 (approx. ₹51,200) for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. It will go on sale in China on June 10, 2022.
