Last week, the Transsion Holdings-owned Infinix launched the Infinix Hot 12 Play smartphone in India. The device will go on sale in India for the first time starting today. To recall, the Hot 12 Play is an entry-level smartphone from Infinix that comes with a 6.82-inch IPS LCD display. The smartphone is powered by a Unisoc T610 processor which is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Infinix Hot 12 Play price in India is ₹8,499 for the sole 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. This is an introductory price and the cost of the device might vary in the future. The smartphone will be available for sale in India exclusively via Flipkart from 12:00PM today. On the e-commerce portal, you can get 10 percent Instant Discount on RBL Bank Credit and Debit Cards and 5 percent cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank Card. Additionally, customers can get the Google Nest Hub and Google Nest Mini at ₹4999 and ₹1999 respectively on purchase of the Infinix Hot 12 Play.

The Infinix Hot 12 Play flaunts a 6.82-inch IPS LCD display that has HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the software front, this entry-level smartphone runs Android 11 out of the box with XOS 10 on top. As for the performance, the handset relies on an octa-core Unisoc T610 processor which is paired with a Mali G52 GPU.

The System On Chip consists of 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. The device also has a microSD card slot through which users can expand the storage beyond 64GB.
