iQOO 11 Series To Launch On December 2

iQOO has revealed that it will launch its latest flagship iQOO 11 series of smartphones on December 2, 2022 in Malaysia. The series is said to consist of two smartphones: the iQOO 11 5G and the iQOO 11 Pro. There are chances that the iQOO 11 5G will become the first-ever Snapdragon Gen 2-powered smartphone to launch outside of China. The iQOO 11 series is expected to arrive in India in December or in January.

iQOO 11 5G Launch Date, Specifications

According to a report by GSMArena, the iQOO 11 5G launch will take place in Malaysia on December 2nd, 6pm local time. The smartphone is touted to be the “king of gaming smartphones”. As for the Pro variant of the iQOO 11 series, it is not yet confirmed if the smartphone will be launched on the same day.

Based on previous reports, the iQOO 11 5G will feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that offers a 144Hz refresh rate. Powering the smartphone will be the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which will likely be paired with Vivo’s V2 chip, at least 8GB RAM, and at least 128GB internal storage. In terms of software, the iQOO 11 5G will boot Android 13-based OriginOS 13/FunTouchOS 13 skin out of the box.

For photography, the smartphone is expected to offer a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide angle camera, and an 8MP macro camera. For selfies and video calling the device will most likely feature a 16MP front camera. When it comes to the battery, the iQOO 11 5G is reported to be backed by a 5,000mAh unit with support for 120W fast charging over a USB Type-C port.
