iQOO has added a new smartphone – the iQOO Neo 7 to its Neo lineup in the Chinese market. The latest Neo series smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor and up to 12GB of RAM. It offers a 120Hz AMOLED display and a 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor. The smartphone comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports a whopping 120W fast charging.

iQOO Neo 7: Price And Availability
The iQOO Neo 7 comes in four configurations—8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. The pricing is as follows:

The iQOO Neo 7 will go on sale starting October 31, 2022 in China. The brand hasn’t revealed any details regarding the global availability of the device.
iQOO Neo 7: Specifications And Features
The all-new iQOO Neo 7 flaunts a 120Hz AMOLED display that measures 6.78-inches in size and features Full HD+ (2,400 × 1,080 pixels) resolution. It supports up to 1500 nits peak brightness, a 360Hz touch sampling rate, and an 80,00,000:1 contrast ratio. The display panel offers DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR10+ support and makes room for the front shooter inside a centered punch hole notch.
Under the hood, the latest Neo series smartphone sports an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor that brings with it an integrated Mali G710 GPU. Fabbed on TSMC’s 4nm process, the Dimensity 9000+ comes coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. It comes pre-loaded with Vivo’s proprietary OriginOS Ocean, based on Android 13.
In terms of optics, the all-new iQOO Neo 7 offers a triple-rear camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766V sensor with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size, an F1.88 aperture, and OIS. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro camera, and an LED flash. It comes equipped with a 16MP front shooter that has an F2.45 aperture.
The latest Neo series smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit and 120W fast charging support. It makes use of a USB 2.0 Type-C port for charging and data transfer. On the security front, it offers an in-display fingerprint scanner as well as face unlock. It offers a stereo speaker setup but lacks the 3.5mm audio jack. As a result, the audio is also routed through the Type-C port.
The iQOO Neo 7 comes in three colour options—Pop Orange, Impression Blue, and Geometric Black. The Pop Orange and Impression Blue variants of the device feature a leather textured finish and weigh around 197 grams. The Geometric Black variant of the device weighs 202 grams and measures 164.81 × 76.9 × 8.5mm. Connectivity options of the device include dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and Glonass.
