Jio is rolling out a new feature to its JioTV app called the Jio Watch Party. This new feature enables you to stream content with your friends, family, or colleagues. When you start watching a show or a cricket match, you will be prompted by the new ‘Watch Party” feature. Tapping on the icon will start your watch party and your group can join it using the link. Alternatively, you can also join a watch party created by others and enjoy the content together.
The Watch Party feature will be rolled out to users in a phased manner and only cricket matches can be viewed for now. You can view the ongoing India v/s England ODI series with your loved ones by clicking on the Watch Party icon at the bottom of the screen. Team India will play the Asia Cup in August 2022, where it will meet its arch nemesis Pakistan. Later in October 2022, India will take part in the T20 Worldcup in Australia. There will be many other bilateral series as team India plays cricket almost throughout the year. This app gives you the opportunity to enjoy these matches if you stay far away from your family and friends. Expect more channels to be added in the future.
