One of the main drawbacks of WhatsApp is the inability to transfer data between Android and iOS platforms. You can transfer data from one Android/iOS device to another device but you cannot transfer data from an Android device to an iOS device and vice versa. Fortunately, WhatsApp is working on a feature that will allow transferring WhatsApp data between Android and iOS devices. However, we saw only a couple of images of this feature. We never got to see it in detail. Well, that changes today. A video has appeared online that shows the WhatsApp feature which will allow you to transfer data from Android to an iOS device.
Here’s how you can transfer WhatsApp data between Android and iOS devices
WABetaInfo has posted a video on Twitter showing the upcoming feature in WhatsApp which will allow you to transfer data between Android and iOS platforms. According to WABetaInfo, users will need to connect their Android and iOS devices via cables to a PC in order to transfer WhatsApp data between them. It is a bummer that you won’t be able to transfer data between Android and iOS platforms via the internet. Nonetheless, people will at least have an option to transfer the data securely without having to rely on third-party apps to do the job.
