LG has expanded its water purifier lineup in India with the launch of its first UF+UV water purifier. With the new UF+UV water purifier, LG aims to deliver clean drinking water to consumers by removing heavy metals. The new water purifier, unveiled on the occasion of World Water Day, claims to ensure zero wastage of water.

LG UF+UV Water Purifier (WW120NNC): Pricing, Availability

LG UF+UV water purifier price in India is ₹20,299. It is available for purchase via offline retail stores and major e-commerce platforms. It comes in just one colour: Crimson Red.

Buyers will get a complimentary premium service once a year alongside one-time filter replacement with digital sterilization worth ₹1,400, which is applicable for one year from the date of purchase.

LG UF+UV Water Purifier: Specifications, Features

The new LG UF+UV water purifier uses UF (Ultra Filtration) technology that effectively removes dissolved solids and hazardous toxins from normal water to make it safe for drinking. Ultra Filtration does not affect the TDS of the water, resulting in zero water wastage, as claimed by the company. It uses filter candles that we usually see in entry-level water purifiers.

Furthermore, the purifier utilises a brand-new post carbon filter, an advanced technique that uses electrostatic absorption to remove viruses from water. The combination of features like Virus Clean+ and UF filtration works towards eliminating 99% of viruses from the water.

The new water purifier is designed to filter water in seven stages, which removes seven heavy metals including Mercury, Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium, Iron, Chromium, and Copper. These elements can lead to health issues if not removed. The HMR (Heavy Metal Removal) filter inside the purifier functions to provide clean drinking water.

The LG UF+UV water purifier has a stainless steel tank with a capacity of 8 litres. It can be wall-mounted and comes with a 20W power rating. Coming to dimensions, the water purifier measures 365×506×283mm and weighs 10.4kg.
