Microsoft has announced a partnership with Samsung to bring the Xbox app and Game Pass to Samsung Smart TVs and monitors. According to Samsung, the Microsoft Xbox app will arrive for the 2022 Samsung Smart TV lineup, including the Samsung Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, QLED TVs, and the 2022 Smart Monitor series. The Samsung Gaming Hub will allow users to stream over 100 games through the Xbox app.

It will allow users to play over 100 high quality games via the Xbox app without using a console. Through the Xbox app, users will be able to stream blockbuster titles like Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, NBA 2K22, and Minecraft. Furthermore, this will allow users to play new games on the day of release from Xbox Game Studios.
You can stream the Xbox games on your compatible TV or monitor by following these steps:
- Access the Xbox app from the Samsung Gaming Hub and log into your existing Microsoft account. If you’re a Game Pass Ultimate member, you’ll have access to hundreds of cloud-enabled games, or you can check out Fortnite without a membership.
- If you are new to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, join or upgrade, or you can sign up directly in the app.
- Connect your favourite Bluetooth-enabled controller like the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, Elite Series 2 Controller, or the DualSense controller. Now you can start playing over 100 high quality games.
The Xbox app on Samsung’s TVs and monitors will reportedly support a wide variety of controllers at launch. That includes Microsoft’s Xbox controllers and Sony’s DualSense controller for the PS5. The Samsung Gaming Hub will be available in select regions around the globe on the 2022 Samsung Smart TV models starting from June 30.
