Moto G62 5G Launch Imminent; Images, Specifications Leaked

Motorola is gearing up to launch its Moto G62 5G mid-range smartphone in the market. WinFuture has got hold of its specifications, images, and prices. Going by the images, the device looks almost production-ready and its launch might be imminent. The Moto G62 5G packs in a Snapdragon chipset, 5G connectivity, OLED display, high refresh rate, and triple rear cameras, among other features.

The Motorola Moto G62 5G carries Motorola’s family look at the rear with vertically stacked camera sensors. The device will be built out of polycarbonate. On the front, it comes with a hole-punch camera cutout on the display and slim bezels on the sides. However, the top bezel and the bottom chin are relatively thicker. 

The Motorola Moto G62 5G is expected to sport a 6.5-inch OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz screen refresh rate. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 480+ chipset, which is built on the 8nm fabrication process. To recall, the Moto G51 5G, which was launched back in 2021, came with the same chipset. The Moto G62 5G will be equipped with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The memory can be expanded further via the microSD card slot.

The handset comes with a triple camera setup at the rear. It comprises a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor. Video shooting is restricted to up to 1080p due to hardware limitations. Selfie duties are handled by the 16MP front-facing snapper housed in the punch-hole camera cutout.  

Some notable features of the handset include Bluetooth v5.1, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, and a USB Type-C port, among others. The Moto G62 5G will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery under its hood coupled with fast charging support. The device will run on Android 12 out of the box. 

Moto G62 5G: Price, Availability

According to the report, the Moto G62 5G may cost around €300 (approx. ₹25,000). However, expect it to be priced significantly lower when it reaches India. It will come in blue, green, and grey colour options.
