Lenovo-owned Motorola launched two G-series smartphones—the Moto G31 and the Moto G51 in India recently. Now, it looks like the brand is preparing to unveil yet another G-series smartphone in India. As per the details shared by tipster Yogesh Brar, Motorola is planning to launch the Moto G71 5G smartphone in India in the second week of January.
The smartphone was introduced globally alongside the Moto G31, Moto G51, and Moto G41 back in November. Let us take a look at the specifications of the Moto G71.

The Moto G71 5G flaunts a 6.43-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The display panel has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 411 PPI pixel density, and a punch-hole cutout at the center which houses the selfie camera. Under the hood, the Moto G71 5G comes powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor. The smartphone packs 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. On the software front, the Moto G71 5G runs Android 11 out of the box.
As for the optics, the G71 5G boasts a triple-camera setup. The camera module includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The front of the smartphone consists of a 16MP selfie camera. It packs a 5,000mAh battery that has 30W fast charging support. The device also features a rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner.
Connectivity-wise, the handset offers features like dual-SIM card support, 5G, 4G, Dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. Dimensions-wise the Moto G71 5G measures 161.2 x 73.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 179 grams. The device even has a P2i coating for water resistance. The handset also has Dolby Atmos support.
Moto G71 5G Price In India (Expected)
The Moto G71 5G costs EUR 300 in the European countries. We can expect the Moto G71 5G to retail somewhere around ₹25,000 in India. The smartphone could debut in India in Neptune Green, Arctic Blue, and Iron Black colour options, considering that the handset comes with the same colour choices in the global markets.
