Motorola has confirmed that it will launch its Moto Tab G62 on August 17, 2022 in India. The Flipkart landing page is live, which reveals its design and some key details of the device. It will be a 4G tablet which will be powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset, also found on smartphones such as the Redmi Note 11, Oppo K10, Redmi 10, Realme 9i, Motorola G52, iQOO Z6 4G, and more.
Carrying the same processor doesn’t necessarily mean that it will perform similar to the others. A lot depends on the software tuning, cooling efficiency, and a couple of other factors. Thankfully, the Moto Tab G62 with model number XT2261-2 has appeared on the Geekbench database, which should give us a fair idea about its performance.
The Moto Tab G62 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset with four performance cores running at 2.4GHz and the efficiency cores clocked at 1.9GHz. The device on Geekbench was equipped with 4GB of RAM and was running on the Android 12 operating system. The tablet managed to score 311 points in the single-core test and 1304 points in the multi-core test of Geekbench 5. This should give you a rough idea of how its performance will be in real life.
