Motorola is set to unleash the world’s first 200MP camera phone. Dubbed the Moto X30 Pro, it will go on sale alongside the Moto Razr 2022 on August 2, 2022, in China. The Lenovo-owned company has now confirmed that its flagship smartphone for 2022 will come with 125W fast charging support.
Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo China, shared an image of the 125W charging brick on the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. You can also see the Motorola branding in the background. The Moto X30 Pro is set to be the fastest charging smartphone ever from the Motorola stable. That’s almost double the charging rate compared to the 68W fast-charging tech of the 2021 Motorola flagship, the Moto Edge X30.
Moto X30 Pro: Specifications (Rumoured)
The Moto X30 Pro moniker will be used in the Chinese market and is expected to be introduced as the Moto Edge 30 Ultra in the global markets. Rumours about this device, codenamed Motorola Frontier, have been doing the rounds for more than six months now. Finally, we have a launch date for the device along with some confirmed key specifications like its processor, charging speeds, and rear camera design.
The 2022 Motorola flagship will be powered by Qualcomm’s top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is built on TSMC’s 4nm fabrication process. The processor is expected to deliver up to 10 percent higher performance and up to 30 percent improvement in power efficiency when compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 built on Samsung’s 4nm process.

It could be equipped with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. In terms of optics, it will come with a 200MP primary sensor accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide snapper and a 12MP telephoto shooter. The device is said to run on MyUI 4.0 based on Android 12 OS out of the box.
