Motorola has finally introduced its Motorola Edge 30 Fusion alongside its Motorola Edge 30 Ultra in India. The Edge 30 Fusion is a rebranded Moto S30 Pro, which was launched back in August 2022 in China. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is aimed at users who value a premium build and prefer curved displays over flat screens. It packs a 6.55-inch 10-bit OLED, 144Hz, Snapdragon 888+, 50MP camera with OIS, stereo speakers, NFC, and an IP52 rating, among other features.

That’s about ₹14,000 more than the Chinese price of CNY 2199 (roughly ₹26,000) for the Moto S30. If it was priced at around ₹30,000, it would have given sleepless nights to its rivals in the segment. ICICI and Axis card holders can get a discount of ₹3000 on the purchase. The handset comes in Solar Gold and Cosmic Grey colourways in India.
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion: Features, Specifications
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion carries a premium glass and metal sandwich design. It gets Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and the back. The smartphone is very sleek with just 7.45mm of thickness. The device flaunts a 6.55-inch 10-bit curved OLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. Additionally, the display supports DC Dimming and HDR10+.
The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is powered by a two-generation older Snapdragon 888+ chipset and not the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which its bigger sibling, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra gets. Motorola has employed an 11-layer vapour cooling chamber with an area of 23831.89mm² to keep its thermals in check during intensive tasks like gaming. It is equipped with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of imaging, the Edge 30 Fusion features a triple camera setup at the rear comprising a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide camera unit with a macro option, and a 2MP depth sensor. Selfie and video calling duties are handled by a 32MP camera, which is housed in the punch-hole cutout at the front.
Some other notable features of the device include 5G SA/NSA, Bluetooth v5.2, Wi-Fi 6e, NFC, GPS, an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and an IP52 rating, among others. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion packs in a 4,400mAh battery under its hood coupled with 68W fast charging. The device will run on Android 12 OS out of the box.
