Motorola has launched a new flagship smartphone, dubbed the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, in India today. The smartphone is claimed to be the world’s first to feature a 200MP camera. The new Moto smartphone is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It also features a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ endless edge display and a 4,610mAH battery. Motorola Edge 30 Ultra Price In India, Availability

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra price in India is set at ₹59,999 for its single 8GB+128GB storage variant. However, the smartphone can be purchased at an introductory price of ₹54,999 via Flipkart and various offline retail stores in the country. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra comes in Starlight White and Interstellar Black colour options and will go on sale starting from September 22 in the country.

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display that offers a 2,400×1,080 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display also supports HDR10+, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, up to 1250 nits brightness, DC Dimming, and a 1500Hz instant touch sampling rate. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor coupled with an Adreno 730 GPU. The smartphone packs in 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front, the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra boots Android 12-based MyUI 4.0 out of the box. Besides, the company also promises two years of Android updates and three years of security updates for the phone.

In terms of imaging, the new Moto smartphone offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 200MP main camera with 1/1.22″ Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor and 16-in-1 pixel binning. You will also get a 50MP ultra-wide angle camera with macro option and a 12MP telephoto sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device features a 60MP front camera with Ov60a sensor. When it comes to the battery, the newly launched Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is backed by a 4,610mAh unit with support for 125W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Additionally, the handset also supports reverse wireless charging.

Connectivity features on the smartphone include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 6E, MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, two USB Type-C ports, and NFC. Other primary features on the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra include an in-display fingerprint sensor, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, and a triple microphone array. The device also comes with an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
