After launching the Moto G Power (2022) a few hours ago, Motorola has now launched a new mid-range smartphone: Motorola Moto G200 5G. The new smartphone flaunts a 6.8-inch LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The device comes powered by the recently released Snapdragon 888+ processor. The smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. On the software front, the device runs Android 11 out of the box, which is a shame since it has been more than a month since Google released the stable version of Android 12. A 5,000mAh battery powers the Moto G200 5G and the company says that the phone can last for two days on a single charge.

The device comes in 128GB and 256GB storage variants, both featuring 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is available in Glacier Green and Stellar Blue colour variants. Initially, the handset will be available for purchase in Europe, followed by its release in select markets in Latin America.

The Motorola Moto G200 5G features a 6.8-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display panel covers the DCI-P3 colour space and supports HDR 10+ video playback. The device comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. On the software front, the handset runs near-stock Android 11 version out of the box. We can expect the device to receive the Android 12 update sometime early next year.
Coming to the cameras, the Moto G200 5G flaunts a triple-camera setup which consists of a 108MP primary camera with an F1.9 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Despite featuring the ultra-fast processor, the Moto G200 5G’s rear-facing 108MP camera is limited to just 4K 30fps video recording. Other rival smartphones support 4K 60fps and 8K 30fps video recording. For selfies and video-calling, the handset sports a 16MP front camera with an F2.2 aperture.
The device supports various connectivity features, including dual-SIM card support, 4G, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.1. Keeping the lights on there is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The phone measures 168.07 x 75.53 x 8.89mm and weighs 202g. Last but not least, the device has an IP52 rating for water splash resistance.
