MSI Raider, Stealth, Crosshair, Katana, Pulse, Vector Gaming Laptops Launched In India

MSI showcased its full line-up of 2022 gaming laptops at the recently concluded CES (Consumer Electronics Show) held in Las Vegas. Now, only a month later, it has launched its 2022 range of Raider, Stealth, Crosshair, Katana, Pulse, and Vector laptops in India. These laptops are powered by Intel’s 11th Generation and the latest Intel 12th Generation processors. These also come with high-performance GPUs, high screen refresh rates, Smart Auto Power, silent fan mode, performance boost features, and run on Windows 11. MSI Raider GE76/66 Series Laptops Features, Specifications

The MSI Raider GE76 laptops sport 17-inch displays, while the Raider GE66 sports 15-inch displays. It comes with 120Hz, 240Hz, and 360Hz screen refresh rate options. The Raider series of laptops are powered by Alder Lake H processors, i7-12700H and i9-12900HK, with an overclocking feature. The laptop can be configured with up to RTX 3080 Ti notebook GPU. Some variants come equipped with DDR4 RAM, while some are available with DDR5 RAM. For video calling and going live while gaming, it comes equipped with a FullHD webcam, capable of recording 1080 videos at 30fps.

MSI has used a Phase Change thermal pad, which stays solid at room temperature but melts when it reaches 58°C, filling the spaces between the CPU and thermal block. This process allows for a more efficient transfer of heat, promising up to 10 percent better performance over regular thermal pastes.

For connectivity, it gets one USB Type-C (USB / DP / Thunderbolt 4), one Type-C USB 3.2 Gen2, two Type-A USB 3.2 Gen1, one Type-A USB 3.2 Gen2, RJ-45 LAN port, SD card slot, HDMI, and a Mini-DisplayPort. It is powered by a 4-Cell 99.9Whr battery under its hood.

MSI Stealth GS77/GS66 Features, Specifications

The MSI Stealth comes with an all matte black colour and without any fancy design to justify its name tag. The MSI Stealth gets a centre hinge to last longer. The lid of the laptop is CNC milled aluminium. The chassis is more rigid now for improved durability while keeping the weight in check. 

The MSI Stealth gets 17.3-inch and 15.6-inch displays with 120Hz, 240Hz, and 360Hz screen refresh rates. The notebooks are powered by 12th Generation Core i7-12650H, Core i7-12700H, and Core i9-12900H processors. You can choose up to an RTX 3080 Ti laptop GPU and supports DDR5-4800 RAM up to 32 GB (Dual-channel). 

Connectivity options include one USB Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen2 / DP), one Type-C PD (USB / DP / Thunderbolt 4), two Type-A USB 3.2 Gen2, one RJ45 LAN port, one SD Express slot, and one HDMI port. It gets a 4-Cell
99Whr battery pack with a 240-watt charger.

MSI Crosshair 15 Special Edition Rainbox Six Extraction

Ubisoft and MSI have collaborated to produce the Crosshair 15, a mid-range gaming laptop, with a Rainbow Six Extraction theme. It gets a greyish black chassis and adorns fancy yellow highlights and laser engraving. MSI is even giving away a copy of the game with every purchase to lure gamers. 

The Crosshair 15 special edition comes with a 15.6-inch QHD display and 165Hz refresh rate. It comes with options of 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H CPU and can be coupled with up to an Nvidia RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. It can take up to 64GB of RAM and up to a 1TB SSD hard drive. It is equipped with a HD 720p webcam.

For connectivity, it gets one Type-C USB 3.2 Gen1, two Type-A USB 3.2 Gen1, one Type-A USB2.0, LAN port, and one HDMI (4K @ 60Hz). It is powered by up to a 4-Cell 90Whr battery under its hood.

MSI Katana Features, Specifications

The MSI Katana gaming laptops are available in three screen sizes. It comes with a 17.3-inch Full HD with 144Hz, a 15.6-inch Full HD with 144Hz, and a Full HD 15.6-inch 240Hz. The displays are IPS LCD panels and not AMOLEDs or mini LEDs. It is powered with 12th Gen Intel Alder Lake processors up to Core i7-12700H. You can have the laptop with a graphics processor up to an Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU. The Katana comes with a 3-Cell 53.5Whr battery pack to keep it running.

MSI Pulse Features, Specifications

The Pulse gaming notebook is loaded with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor. The laptop sports a 17.3-inch Full HD IPS with a 360Hz screen refresh rate or a 15.6-inch QHD IPS display with a 165Hz display. It gets up to an Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU. The notebook will come equipped with up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of NVMe SSD storage.

For connectivity, it gets one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, and HDMI. For video calling purposes, it gets an HD 720p webcam at the front. The MSI Pulse is powered by a 3-Cell 53.5Whr battery pack inside.

MSI Vector Features, Specifications

The MSI Vector laptop comes powered with up to an Intel Core i9-12900HK CPU with up to an Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU. The gaming laptop will be equipped with up to 32GB of RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. The Vector GP76 variant will boast a 17.3-inch Quad HD IPS display with a 240Hz screen refresh rate. The Vector GP66, on the other hand, will come with a 15.6-inch Full HD with a 240Hz refresh rate and a 15.6-inch Quad HD IPS with a 165Hz refresh rate.

Connectivity features include one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port, three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, LAN port, and one HDMI. The laptop gets two 2-watt stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio certification. It is equipped with a 720p HD webcam for video calls and live streaming during gaming. The 4-Cell 65Whr battery pack under its hood promises to keep its lights on.
