Netflix has rolled out a new feature that allows users to remotely log out of their each account registered on the platform. With the latest update, Netflix is adding a new Manage Access and Devices page to the interface. It will show all the devices linked to your Netflix account, hardware type for each device such as smart TV or Android phone, the last time Netflix streamed something to the device, and the approximate location based on the IP address.
The latest Netflix update is currently available on the web, iOS, and Android platforms. According to the streaming giant, the new feature should help keep user accounts more secure. Until now, Netflix users were only allowed to log out of all devices at once. On the contrary, the new Manage Access and Devices page will let them choose specific devices to log out.
Netflix’s New Log Out Feature: Here’s How It Works
Netflix explains that the feature could prove useful while travelling. You might use your account on a hotel’s smart TV and forget to log out before leaving. To log out from a specific Netflix account remotely you need to head to your Account Settings to access the new Manage Access and Devices page. From there you will get an option to sign out from the device.

Moreover, the Manage Access and Devices feature will help you know if someone is accessing your account using a leaked password. The popular media streaming service had also recently rolled out an option to transfer a profile with all data and preferences to a new account. The feature will let users keep their watch history, My List, game save data and more before they decide to log in to a new account.
