Nothing has started rolling out a new update for the Nothing Ear (1) true wireless earphones. The latest update for the Nothing Ear (1) comes with firmware version 0.6700.1.86 and is about 1.82MB in size. The update finally brings the support for virtual assistants such as Google Assistant, Siri, and Amazon Alexa. After the update, users will be able to summon the virtual assistant simply by a triple-tap gesture on either of the earbuds. To update your Nothing Ear (1) to the latest firmware version, follow the procedure shown below,

• Connect the Nothing Ear (1) with the smartphone
• Open the ear (1) app
• Open Device Details section in the ear (1) app
• Tap on Firmware Update
• Open the charging capsule, but do not take out the earbuds
• Tap on Download and Install
• Tap Confirm and wait for 2-3 minutes for the process to complete

Once you have installed the update on your unit, you can follow the below-mentioned procedure to enable the Voice Assistant gesture,

• Tap on Touch
• Tap on Triple Tap gesture for the Left earbud or the Right earbud depending on your preference
• Select Voice Assistant option
