Nothing has started rolling out yet another update for the Nothing Phone (1). The latest update for the smartphone comes with firmware version Nothing OS 1.1.5 and brings Jio 5G support to the device. To those unaware, this is the fifth software update for the Nothing Phone (1). The company had rolled out Nothing OS 1.1.4 update for the handset a month ago which brought several improvements and changes along with it.
The Nothing Phone (1) NothingOS 1.1.5 update is around 20MB in size and comes with the September 2022 Android security patch. Let us take a closer look at the features and changes that the update brings to the Nothing Phone (1).

Nothing Phone (1) NothingOS 1.1.5 Changelogs
The Nothing Phone (1) NothingOS 1.1.5 update is a minor update but it brings Jio 5G support to the device. The smartphone is already compatible with Airtel 5G Plus, which means that Nothing Phone (1) users can now avail 5G services, if the 5G network is available in their city. 5G services were announced earlier this month in the country and telecom operators have already started rolling out 5G in select cities. Airtel is offering 5G services in eight cities as of now. The list includes Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, and Varanasi. On the other hand, Jio has rolled out 5G services in four cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Varanasi.
Nothing Phone (1): Specifications And Features
The Nothing Phone (1) flaunts a 120Hz AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and symmetrical bezels. The display panel measures 6.55 inches and features a punch hole notch. Under the hood, the smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor, an integrated Adreno 642L GPU, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone boots NothingOS, based on Android 12.
The Nothing Phone (1) comes equipped with a 4,500mAh battery unit. It supports 33W fast charging support over a Type-C port. The smartphone supports 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging. The smartphone features a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with ultra-wide-angle functionality. For selfies, it offers a 32MP Sony IMX471 shooter at the front.
