OnePlus 10 Pro Receives First OTA Update: Improves Camera, Network, And System

OnePlus unveiled its latest flagship, the OnePlus 10 Pro globally earlier last week, and the company has already begun rolling out the first OTA update for devices across the globe. The new update brings optimizations for the camera, network, and system.

Let’s take a closer look at the first OTA update for the OnePlus 10 Pro, as well as its features, changes, and changelog.

OnePlus 10 Pro First Update Changelog

Announced in a Community post, OnePlus 10 Pro users in India are receiving the new update with firmware version NE2211_11.A.11, while users in Europe get the update version NE2213_11.A.12. The update is reportedly 809MB in size and brings optimizations for SLO-MO videos, Portrait Mode shots, and white balance.

OnePlus also claims to have improved the fingerprint unlock algorithm and made advancements to the success rate of fingerprint unlocking. The update fixes issues of unstable mobile signals in certain scenarios and optimizes the stability of Wi-Fi connections while improving system stability. OnePlus says that this OTA will be incremental and will reach a small percentage of users at first, and then begin to reach a broader audience in a few days.

The OnePlus 10 Pro launched with Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 skin out of the box. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The handset sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage.
