A few days back, OnePlus released the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 Open beta update for the OnePlus 9RT smartphone in India. Today, the brand is expanding the OxygenOS 13 Open beta program for more devices. The company in a recent development has started rolling out the OxygenOS 13 Open beta update for the OnePlus 8 series and the OnePlus 8T. The brand took to its community forum to confirm the release of the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 Open beta for the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and the OnePlus 8T.

The update adds aquamorphic design theme colors for enhanced visual comfort, Meeting assistant, media playback control, an automatic pixelation feature for chat screenshots, Kids Space, and much more. • Applies real-world physical motions to animations to make them look more natural and intuitive.
• Adapts responsive layouts to accommodate different screen sizes to improve readability.
• Optimizes the widget design to make information easier and quicker to find.

If you are planning to update your device to the latest OxygenOS 13 software version, make sure that your smartphone is currently running OxygenOS 12 (C.35) software version, over 30% charge, and a minimum of 5.5GB of storage space. Also, note that as this is a beta build, so it might contain some bugs. Now that the beta software has been released by the company, we can expect the stable OxygenOS 13 stable update to be released for the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8T in the coming weeks.
