OnePlus 9RT, OnePlus Buds Z2 India Launch Set For January 14

Yesterday, OnePlus India teased the launch of the OnePlus 9RT and the OnePlus Buds Z2 via its social media handles. Today, OnePlus without any ado has confirmed the launch date of these products for the Indian market.

According to the details published by OnePlus on its forum, the OnePlus 9RT and the OnePlus Buds Z2 will launch in India on January 14. Both the OnePlus 9RT and the OnePlus Buds Z2 were announced by OnePlus back in China in October. Let us take a look at the specifications of the OnePlus 9RT:

OnePlus 9RT Specifications, Features

The OnePlus 9RT flaunts a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 1300nits brightness, HDR10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device comes powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 888 processor. The handset packs up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS3.1 storage.

As for the optics, the OnePlus 9RT sports a triple-camera setup. The camera module on the back consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The handset features a 16MP camera at the front. The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery that has 65W fast charging support. The other key features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock support, 4G VoLTE support, USB Type-C charging port, and a dual stereo speaker setup.

OnePlus Buds Z2 Specifications, Features

The OnePlus Buds Z2 comes equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers. It features ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), mono mode, transparency mode, Dolby Atmos support, and wear detection. The Buds Z2 also has support for codecs such as SBC and AAC. For connectivity purpose, the Buds Z2 has Bluetooth v5.2 support.

This latest earbuds from OnePlus also have an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance and Google Fast Pair support. Each earbud packs a 40mAh battery, whereas the case ships with a 520mAh battery. When ANC is turned on, the buds can offer a battery life of 5 hours, whereas with ANC turned of, users can expect 7 hours of battery life.
