OnePlus Nord 2 Android 12 (OxygenOS 12) Stable Update Rolling Out in India

The OnePlus Nord 2 has started receiving the OxygenOS 12 update in India. The OnePlus Nord 2 OxygenOS 12 update is based on the latest version of Android, that is Android 12. This comes after the OnePlus Nord 2 Android 12 Open Beta update which was released last month in the country. To recall, the OnePlus Nord 2 5G was launched last year in July in global markets.

Several users took to the OnePlus Community forum to share the development. The stable update carries firmware version DN2101_11_C.04 and comes with the latest May 2022 Android security patch. Let us take a closer look at the OnePlus Nord 2 OxygenOS 12 update changelogs and features.

The OnePlus Nord 2 Android 12 Stable update comes with firmware version DN2101_11_C.04 and is around 4.89GB in size. The update brings an updated May 2022 Android security patch along with several other features and optimizations.

• Dark mode now supports three adjustable levels, bringing a more personalized and comfortable user experience

• New additional style options for Cards, making data contents more visual and easier to read

• Newly added access to OnePlus Scout in Shelf, allowing you to search multiple contents on your phone, including Apps, Settings, Media Data, etc

• Newly added OnePlus Warch Card in Shelf, to easily glance at your health status

Work Life Balance

• Work Life Balance feature is now available to all users, allowing you to effortlessly switch between Work and Life mode via quick settings

• WLB 2.0 now supports automatic Work/ Life mode switching, based on specific locations, Wi-Fi network, and time, also bringing customized App notification profiles according to the personalization

Gallery

• Gallery now allows you to switch between different layouts with a two-finger pinch gesture, intelligently recognizing the best-quality pictures, and cropping the thumbnail based on the content, making the gallery layout more pleasing

Canvas AOD

• Canvas AOD brings you new diverse styles of lines and colors, for a more personalized lock screen experience with inspiring visuals

• Optimized software algorithm and improved face recognition to better identify the features and skin color of different figures

Games

• Newly added the HyperBoost end-to-end frame rate stabilizer

The OnePlus Nord 2 Android 12 update is rolling out in phases and may not be available on your unit yet. However, we can expect the brand to roll out the update widely in the coming days/weeks.
