OPPO A17, A77s With 50MP Camera, 5,000mAh Battery Launched In India: Price, Specifications

OPPO has launched two new A-series smartphones in India, dubbed the OPPO A17 and the OPPO A77s. Both these devices are available for purchase in India through retail stores. When it comes to the specifications, the OPPO A17 is a budget-oriented device that comes powered by a Helio G35 processor and sports a 6.56-inch HD+ display. On the other hand, the A77s is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 chipset. Both devices feature a 50MP camera and they pack a 5,000mAh battery.

The OPPO A17 is priced at ₹12,499, while the OPPO A77s costs ₹17,999. The OPPO A77s comes in Sky Blue and Starry Black colour options, whereas the A17 is available in blue and black colour options. As mentioned above, both these devices are available for purchase in India through retail stores.

OPPO A17 Specifications, Features

The OPPO A17 flaunts a 6.56-inch display that has HD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, this entry-level smartphone is equipped with MediaTek’s octa-core Helio G35 processor. The handset runs Android 12 out of the box with a layer of ColorOS 12.1 on top. The device ships with a 4GB of RAM and packs 64GB of internal storage.

Moving on to the imaging department, the handset sports a dual-camera setup. The camera module includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front side, the device boasts of a 5MP camera. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery unit which can be charged using a microUSB port.

The other key features of the OPPO A17 include a fingerprint sensor, microSD card support, a 3.5mm audio jack, and 4G VoLTE support. The device weighs 189 grams and measures 164.2 × 75.6 × 8.3mm in terms of dimensions.

OPPO A77s Specifications, Features

The OPPO A77s sports a 6.56-inch display that has HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor. The smartphone is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Similar to the A17, the A77s runs Android 12 OS with ColorOS 12.1 UI on top.

The back of the handset consists of a dual-camera setup. The camera module includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, the A77s relies on an 8MP camera.

The whole package draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that has 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. Furthermore, the phone has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, a stereo speaker setup, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone measures 7.99mm in terms of thickness and weighs 187 grams.
