OPPO A53s 5G Launched as the Most Affordable 5G Phone in India: Price, Specifications

The OPPO A53s 5G has been launched in India today as the most affordable 5G smartphone in the country. The OPPO A53s 5G is placed below the OPPO A74 5G in the brand’s lineup of smartphones for the Indian market. The new smartphone from OPPO competes directly with the Realme 8 5G, which is now the second most affordable 5G phone in India.

The OPPO A53s 5G is available in India in two configurations. The first model has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage; it costs Rs 14,990. The second model has 8GB RAM and 128 storage; it will set you back by Rs 16,990. The OPPO A53s 5G has gone on sale in India exclusively from Flipkart.

OPPO A53s 5G: specifications

The OPPO A53s 5G comes with a 6.52-inch screen. The display has HD+ resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a V-shaped notch at the top that houses the front-facing camera. Speaking of which, the A53s 5G has three rear cameras, a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there is an 8MP camera for selfies. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The MediaTek Dimensity 700 powers the OPPO A53s 5G. This chipset is made on a 7nm fabrication process. It has 4x Cortex-A76 CPU cores, 3x Cortex-A55 CPU cores, and Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. On the software side of things, the device comes loaded with the Android 11 OS and ColorOS 11.1. The OPPO A53s 5G has a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. The phone features dual-SIM, dual-5G, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C port.
