OPPO Find X2 Android 12 Update Beta Testing Recruitment Starts

OPPO has been rolling out the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update for its smartphone since September 2021. Last month, the Chinese smartphone maker pushed the Android 12 update to the OPPO Find X3. Now, the brand has started preparations for rolling out the Android 12 update to Find X2 series smartphones. As per the information released by OPPO on its forum, OPPO Find X2 series owners in India and Indonesia can try out the beta version of the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 update. The Android 12-based ColorOS 12 beta program is now open to the Find X2, Find X2 Pro, and the Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition.

Android 12 Update For OPPO Find X2 Series Comes In The Form Of ColorOS 12

OPPO is looking for up to 5,000 beta testers to test the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 on the OPPO Find X3, OPPO Find X3 Pro, and the OPPO Find X3 Automobili Lamborghini Edition. In order to get enrolled into the Android 12 beta program, users should be running firmware version C.73 and then head over to Settings > Software Update > Apply for Beta Version > Update Beta Version, and then follow the on-screen instructions.

The registration for the Android 12 beta program will remain open from November 15, 2021, to November 22, 2021. After the beta testing ends, we can expect OPPO to release the stable Android 12 update for the Find X2, Find X2 Pro, and the Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition as early as December 2021.

To recall, the OPPO Find X2 series was launched with Android 10 out of the box. The three devices in the lineup were updated to Android 11-based ColorOS 11 last year. The recently released Android 12 update will be the major software update for these devices. ColorOS 12 is a customised skin with an inclusive design language, 3D icons, Omoji, and Always-on Display 2.0. The ColorOS 12 update also brings the adaptive sleep feature, bubble animations, smart side-bar screen translate, enhanced privacy dashboard, new wallpaper-based theming system, and a host of new features.
