The Find X5, OPPO’s flagship series for 2022, was just announced globally. The series has three smartphones: the vanilla Find X5, the Find X5 Pro, and the Find X5 Lite. The Find X series has traditionally been used by OPPO to demonstrate their technological prowess, and the Find X5 series follows suit. These new smartphones retain the same design language and get the new Qualcomm CPUs, faster charging, and more at a marginal cost bump compared to the outgoing model.
OPPO Find X5 Features, Specifications
The Find X5 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ 5G SoC. It is available in a single option with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 internal storage. The phone gets a ceramic back and metal frames with a curved display at the front. It is splash, water, and dust resistant with an IP68 rating, which is a plus.
On the optics front, the phone gets a triple camera setup at the rear with two 50MP Sony IMX766 sensors, one of them being wide and the other being ultra-wide-angle. The phone also gets a 13MP tele camera that has 5X hybrid zoom and 20X digital zoom. The selfies are taken care of by a 32MP sensor. The brand has also partnered up with Hasselblad, which has a strategic partnership with OnePlus for its flagships. According to OPPO, the main camera has a five-axis OIS system, which, when combined with proprietary algorithms, improves with every use to counter handshake, reduce noise, and sharpen scenes. OPPO has also added their custom MariSilicon X chip, which brings a whole host of computational power to the device.

Along with this, the Pro model also gets 30W AIRVOOC wireless charging tech that can supposedly charge the phone up to 100% wirelessly in just 47 minutes.
Apart from the Find X5, OPPO also announced the Find X5 Pro that gets a bigger 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G SoC. The Pro model also retains the same set of cameras along with the MariSilicon X chip and Hasselblad colour science but gets a slightly bigger battery with support for 50W fast wireless charging.
