The Oppo Pad Air finally gets a launch date in India. The tablet will be unveiled on July 18, 2022, alongside the Oppo Reno 8 series of smartphones in the country. The Oppo Pad Air is expected to be a Wi-Fi-only tablet with a large IPS LCD, stereo speakers, USB Type-C port and a large capacity battery. The tablet is likely to be accompanied by the Oppo Enco X2 TWS earbuds, which were launched in the global markets back in February 2022.
Oppo Pad Air: Highlights
The Oppo Pad Air will come with a 6.9mm thickness and will weigh 440 grams. It will sport a 10.36-inch IPS LCD with 360 nits of peak brightness. The display will feature up to 80 percent screen-to-body ratio with uniform but relatively thicker bezels all around. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset, which is built on the 6nm fabrication process. It is a 4G capable processor and Oppo could bring a 4G variant of the Oppo Pad Air apart from the Wi-Fi only model. The tablet will come with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
In terms of optics, the Oppo Pad Air will be equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls. The tablet features quad stereo speakers for entertainment. It also comes with stylus pen support for doodling or taking notes. The tablet is powered by a 7,100mAh battery under its hood coupled with an 18W charging support.

The Oppo Enco X2 TWS earbuds are powered by a three-core chipset. The earbuds get two noise-cancelling microphones each for ANC. They can be set to three levels of noise cancellation such as Max Noise Cancellation, Moderate Noise Cancellation, and Smart Noise Cancellation.
Other noteworthy features include Bluetooth v5.2, Bone Voiceprint AI Call Noise Reduction, Binaural low-latency Bluetooth, inorganic ion antibacterial coating, IP54 water and dust resistance, wax guard layers, and more. The Oppo Enco X2 earbuds can reportedly offer up to 9.5 hours of music playback on a single charge with the ANC off. Combined with the charging case, they can provide a total playback of 40 hours. The earphones can be charged via the USB Type-C port or via a Qi wireless charger.
