OPPO Reno8 Series India Launch Confirmed

OPPO recently launched the OPPO Reno8 series of smartphones in China. The OPPO Reno8 series, consisting of the OPPO Reno8, the Reno8 Pro, and the Reno8 Pro+, is soon going to launch in India as well. However, the brand will only launch the vanilla OPPO Reno8 and the OPPO Reno8 Pro in the country. OPPO’s official India website has confirmed the arrival of the OPPO Reno8 series in India. OPPO Reno8 Series Launching Soon In India

As seen in the promotional poster above, the OPPO Reno8 will soon launch in India. If earlier rumours are to be believed, we might get to see the devices launching in the country on July 18, 2022. Additionally, the OPPO India website has listed only the OPPO Reno8 and the OPPO Reno8 Pro devices, thereby suggesting that the brand might skip the OPPO Reno8 Pro+ for the country.

OPPO Reno8, OPPO Reno8 Pro Specifications

Starting with the vanilla OPPO Reno8, the device has a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and 800 nits peak brightness. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor, which is paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. Coming to the cameras of the device, the OPPO Reno8 has a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. At the front, the device makes room for a 32MP selfie shooter.

As for the software, the OPPO Reno8 boots Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 skin out of the box. Coming to the battery of the device, the OPPO Reno8 features a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.

The OPPO Reno8 Pro has a relatively larger 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, which is coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard memory. In terms of cameras, the handset has a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 32MP front camera.

Coming to the battery of the device, the OPPO Reno8 Pro features a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. Lastly, the device boots Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 skin out of the box.
