Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially announced 5G telecom services in India at the India Mobile Congress, one of Asia’s largest technological events. Following the introduction, telecom companies have been racing to see who can deploy their networks the earliest, and both Airtel and Jio have announced 5G services in the country. Airtel demonstrated its 5G Plus services, which are now available in eight major Indian cities.
Airtel 5G Plus services are now available to customers in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, and Varanasi. With the public now having access to next-generation networks, an important question emerges—does your smartphone support 5G? Let’s have a look at the devices that are presently compatible with Airtel’s 5G Plus network in India.
