Poco M5 Gets Listed On NBTC Ahead Of Launch

Poco is gearing up to launch a new smartphone, dubbed the Poco M5, in the global markets. The smartphone was recently spotted on the BIS certification website, hinting that it might launch soon in India. As per a recent update, the upcoming Poco smartphone has been listed on the NBTC certification website. Let us take a look at the details of the listing.

POCO M5 Expected Specifications

A report suggests that the upcoming Poco M5 has been certified by NBTC ahead of launch. This means that the device will likely be introduced in Thailand. However, the listing doesn’t reveal any other details about the device. The smartphone has also been certified by BIS, FCC, and IMDA certification websites.

Based on previous reports, the global variant of the Poco M5 bears model number 22071219CG while the Indian variant of the device was spotted with model number 22071219CI. The listings reveal that the Poco M5 will be launched as a 4G device. In terms of software, the smartphone is said to boot Android-12 based MIUI 13 out of the box.

Powering the smartphone will reportedly be a MediaTek 4G processor, which could be paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. For photography, the upcoming POCO M5 is expected to offer a 50MP triple rear camera setup and an 8MP selfie snapper. When it comes to the battery, the POCO M5 could come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.

In terms of connectivity, the Poco M5 might feature dual-band Wi-Fi. While the brand has not officially teased the arrival of the device, we can expect it to arrive in July this year.
