Pre-orders For Samsung Smart Monitor M8 With 32-inch 4K Panel, TV Functionality Begin In India

Samsung unveiled its Smart Monitor M8 alongside the Odyssey Neo G8 and Samsung UHD Monitor S8 at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show), which was held in January in Las Vegas, USA. Now, after five long months, it is bringing its Smart Monitor M8 to the Indian market. The Korean giant has started taking pre-orders for its latest monitor. The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 packs in a UHD screen, TV functionality, HDR10+, 99 percent sRGB coverage, and a detachable video camera, among other features. 

Samsung Smart Monitor M8: Features, Specifications

The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 comes with a metal base plate with adjustable height and can be tilted according to your preference. The monitor is 11.5mm thick. It sports a 32-inch VA panel with 4K UHD resolution, 1.07 billion colours, and a 99 percent sRGB coverage. The display can reach a peak brightness of 400 nits. 

The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 can be hooked to two computers simultaneously, allowing you to operate them in split-screen mode. Moreover, it can be used as a standalone smart TV as it comes with a built-in Tizen operating system. The monitor gets a rechargeable remote control to access various TV functions. 

The monitor can be used as a Smart Hub to control smart home gadgets. It comes with a nifty detachable video camera which can shoot in 1080p. You can make use of the in-built Google Duo app to make calls and attend meetings via the monitor. The far-field microphones promise to offer excellent voice pickup. It packs in a 2.2 channel stereo speaker setup for entertainment purposes. 

The smart monitor comes loaded with features such as Samsung TV Plus, Web Service (Microsoft 365), SmartThings, Workspace, Apple AirPlay support, and Game bar 2.0, among others. Connectivity features of the monitor include Bluetooth V4.2, Wi-Fi 5, two USB Type-C ports, and one micro HDMI port. 

Samsung Smart Monitor M8: Price, Availability

The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 can be pre-ordered between June 3 and June 9 2022 via Samsung’s online store. The pre-reserve price is ₹3,000, and you will also get a free Galaxy Buds 2, a wireless keyboard, and a ₹5,000 coupon with it. Samsung hasn’t revealed its prices or shipping dates yet.
