Realme has launched a new mid-range smartphone, dubbed the Realme 9i 5G, in India today. The smartphone features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen, a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, a 50MP main camera, and a 5,000mAh battery, among other features. Realme 9i 5G Price In India, Availability

The Realme 9i 5G price in India starts at ₹14,999 for the 4GB+64GB storage variant, while the 6GB+128GB model costs ₹16,999. As part of the launch offer, buyers can avail a ₹1,000 discount with HDFC Bank credit cards. The smartphone will go on sale starting from August 24, 2022 in the country. Interested buyers can get their hands on the device via Flipkart and various offline retail stores. As for the colour options, the Realme 9i 5G comes in Soulful Blue, Rocking Black, and Metallica Gold shades.

Realme 9i 5G Specifications, Features

The Realme 9i 5G features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The display panel offers a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 400 nits of peak brightness. Powering the smartphone is an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor, which is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB UFS 2.2 storage and 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. The internal storage can be further expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.

In terms of software, the new Realme smartphone runs Android 12-based realme UI 3.0 out of the box. For photography, the smartphone offers a triple-rear camera setup including a 50MP main camera, a 2MP B&W camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies and video calling, the device has an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. When it comes to the battery, the Realme 9i 5G is backed by a 5,000mAh unit with support for 18W Dart Charge fast charging.

Connectivity features on the smartphone include 5G (n1/n5/n8/n28A/n41/n77/n78), dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. Other key features of the Realme 9i 5G include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Hi-Res Audio support. Coming to dimensions, the handset measures 164.4×75.1×8.1mm and weighs around 187 grams.
