Realme C33 Design, India Launch Date Revealed: Specifications

Realme will be releasing its latest Realme C33 smartphone in India on September 6, 2022. It will be slotted between the Realme C31 and the Realme C35 in the C-series lineup. The brand has shared some teasers of the Realme C33, revealing its rear design and some key specifications. It is confirmed to pack in a 5,000mAh battery, dual rear cameras, a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C, and a distinct looking rear panel, among other features. 

Realme C33: Highlights

The Realme C33 flaunts a flat rear panel with no camera island, just the two protruding rear camera sensors. In Realme’s words, it is a “Unicover design which makes the back panel look like a boundless sea, with a dynamic beam of lights, resembling water flowing in the sun.” Realme is known to experiment with different finishes for its products. The brand is now trying to add some “oomph” to the budget and mid-range smartphone category by offering such innovative designs.  

As per rumour mills, the Realme C33 will be powered by a UNISOC processor. It could sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with a waterdrop notch at the top housing the selfie camera. The smartphone will be equipped with up to 4GB RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The base model will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It might get a dedicated microSD card slot to expand the storage further. 

In terms of imaging, the Realme C33 is confirmed to come with a 50MP primary sensor. The ancillary camera is expected to be a 2MP depth sensor. The handset comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. It will be backed by a large 5,000mAh battery pack under its hood. Rumours suggest that it will run on Realme UI based on Android 11 out of the box. 

Realme C33: Price, Colour Options (Rumoured)

Thanks to a report by Appuals, we have the leaked prices of the Realme C33. The base variant with 3GB RAM will reportedly cost between ₹9,500 and ₹10,500 in India. It will come in Sandy Gold, Aqua Blue, and Night Sea colour options and will be sold via Flipkart in India.
