Realme Cobble and Pocket Bluetooth Speakers Launched in India

Alongside the Realme 8i, Realme 8s 5G, and Realme Pad, Realme also launched a couple of Bluetooth speakers at an event in India. The Realme Pocket Bluetooth speaker, the cheaper of the duo, has offers 3W of audio output and 6 hours of music playback. The Realme Cobble Bluetooth speaker offers up to 9 hours of music playback with 5W of audio output. Both the Bluetooth speakers pack bass boost drivers, a USB Type-C charging port (thank goodness!), Realme Link app support, and an IPX5 rating for water splash resistance.

Realme Cobble Bluetooth Speaker: Price, Features, and Specifications

The Realme Cobble Bluetooth speaker offers a 5W dynamic driver along with a passive bass radiator. Realme has equipped the Cobble speaker with three equalizer presets: Bass, Bright, and Dynamic. It also features a low-latency (88ms) mode, which should be helpful during gaming sessions and video playback. The speaker uses a Bluetooth 5.0 chip that supports up to 10m range. Talking about Bluetooth codes, the Cobble support SBC and AAC codes.

Under-the-hood, the Realme Cobble speaker comes packed with a 1,500mAh battery that provides up to 9 hours of music playback, as per the company’s claims. The Bluetooth speaker charges over a USB Type-C port and it takes around 2.5 hours for a full charge. It features an IPX5 rating that makes it water splash resistant. Users also have an option to pair a couple of cobble speakers for a stereo sound output. It weighs 200g.

The Realme Cobble Bluetooth Speaker price in India is ₹1,799. It comes in Electric Blue and Metal Black colour variants. It will go on sale starting September 15, 2021, via Flipkart and Realme.com. As an introductory offer, the company is offering a ₹300 discount, bringing the speaker’s price down to ₹1,499 during the first sale.

The Realme Pocket Bluetooth speaker gets a 3W dynamic driver coupled with a passive bass radiator. Similar to the Realme Cobble speaker, the pocket speaker also offers Bass, Bright, and Dynamic equalizer presets. The company hasn’t compromised on the connectivity part, and the pocket speakers also use Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless audio transmission.

The Pocket speaker is equipped with a 600mAh battery and manages to provide 6 hours of music playback due to a weaker 3W audio output. It takes about 2.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100% via a Type-C charging port. It features an IPX5 rating that makes it water splash resistant. Similar to the Realme Cobble speaker, users can also pair a couple of Pocket speakers for a stereo sound output. The speaker weighs around 113g.

The Realme Pocket speaker price in India is ₹1,099. It is available in two colours: Classic Black and Desert White. The speaker will be up for grabs starting September 15 via Flipkart and Realme.com. During the first sale on September 15, the company will offer a discount of ₹100, which will bring the price down to just ₹999.
