Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Design Revealed

Realme had recently confirmed that it would launch the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition on July 12 in China. The company has already confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will come powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Besides, a few key specifications of the device have surfaced via the TENAA listing and various leaks online. In a recent development, the brand has revealed the design of the upcoming Realme GT 2 Master Edition. Let us take a look.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Design

The Realme GT 2 Master Edition will feature a flat edge design. The brand has collaborated with fashion designer Jae Jung to design the Realme GT 2 Master Edition. Notably, this will be Realme’s first flagship smartphone with a flat edge design. Realme Vice President Xu Qi says that the brand has opted for a flat edge design to replicate a hard case look.

The back panel of the device will be made up of eco-friendly plain leather. According to Realme, Jung has taken design elements of the hard case such as right-angle borders, rivets, and plain leather, and has integrated them into the back panel of the upcoming Realme flagship.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Rumoured Specifications, Expected Price

The upcoming GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is said to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2412×1080 pixel resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. In terms of software, the device is expected to run the Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 out of the box.

For photography, the upcoming Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will offer a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calling the device will rely on a 16MP front facing camera. Speaking of the battery, the smartphone might be backed by a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery with 100W fast charging support.

Coming to dimensions, the smartphone might measure 161.3 × 74.3 · 8.2mm and weigh around 199 grams. As for the pricing, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition is expected to be priced around RMB 3,000, which roughly translates to about ₹35,600.
