The Realme GT 2 series currently comprises the regular GT 2 and the GT 2 Pro handsets. The smartphone manufacturer was also quick to announce that the GT 2 Master Explorer will be among the first to use the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset. The key details of the new smartphone were also disclosed in an earlier report.

Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition Launch Confirmed, Coming Soon To India?
Realme has officially taken the wraps off the GT 2 Master Explorer Edition’s launch timeline for its home country, China. The handset will debut in July 2022. However, the company has not shared a specific launch date and there’s no confirmation on whether the smartphone will be making its way to India.
If the TENAA listing is believed to be true, the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will sport a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ 120Hz 10-bit AMOLED panel. Under the hood, the smartphone is confirmed to be powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which may be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

On the front, the device is said to feature a 16MP selfie snapper. The Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will measure 161.3×74.3×8.2(mm) and will weigh 199 grams. Fuelling the smartphone will be a 2,440mAh dual-cell battery, which is said to have support for 150W fast charging. The smartphone will run Android 12-based realme UI 3.0 out of the box.
