Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition With Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC Listed On TENAA, Images, Specifications Leaked

Realme is prepping up for the launch of the Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition for the Chinese market. The company has already confirmed that this upcoming handset will arrive with the newly launched Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Additionally, the specifications of the device were leaked recently via multiple Weibo posts. Now, in a recent development, the Realme GT 2 Master Edition has received the TENAA certification. The TENAA listing reveals the key specifications of the device along with the images.

As per the TENAA certification, the upcoming Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition will flaunt a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The display panel will offer a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. As per the TENAA listing, the device will have a punch-hole cutout at the top center which will house the selfie camera. Under the hood, the handset is confirmed to ship with Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

The device shall be introduced in three different RAM and storage configurations. The base variant is supposed to pack 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while the mid-tier model could ship with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The top-end variant might come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. For optics, the handset is likely to feature a 50MP triple-camera setup. The 50MP sensor shall be paired with a 50MP secondary lens and a 2MP sensor, as per the TENAA listing. The selfie department on the device might be handled by a 16MP camera.

On the software side of things, we can expect this upcoming flagship smartphone to run Android 12 out of the box with the brand’s custom Realme UI 3.0 on top. The device is likely to debut in two battery variants. As per the TENAA listing, the device will house a dual-cell 2,400mAh battery. The handset will measure 161.3 x 74.3 x 8.2mm in terms of dimensions and weigh around 199 grams. The device shall debut in White, Brown, and Green colorways.
