Realme GT 2 Pro India Launch Set For April 7

Realme had launched the Realme GT 2 series in China two months ago. The Realme GT 2 series smartphopnes made it to Europe launched a few days ago, but Indian consumers are yet to get their hands on the Realme GT 2 and the Realme GT 2 Pro. However, that might change very soon as Realme India has announced that the Realme GT2 Pro will launch in India on April 7, 2022.

Realme India announced on Twitter that the Realme GT 2 Pro will launch in India on April 7, 2022, at 12:30 PM. The Realme GT 2 series consists of two devices: Realme GT 2 and Realme GT 2 Pro.

Realme GT 2 Pro Specifications and Features

The Realme GT 2 Pro features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution (3,216 × 1,440 pixels) and 1,400 nits of peak brightness. It is an E4 LTPO 2.0 display panel that supports a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. The display panel is protected using Corning Gorilla Victus.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 2 Pro packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. There is 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The handset comes pre-loaded with Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 software.

The Realme GT 2 Pro is equipped with a triple-camera setup on the rear, including a 50MP primary camera (Sony IMX766 sensor), a 50MP ultrawide camera (Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor) and a 150° field-of-view. The smartphone also has a 2MP ultra macro camera as well. At the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera (Sony IMX615 sensor).

Powering the Realme GT 2 Pro is a 5,000mAh battery unit with 65W fast charging. The smartphone has a USB Type-C port, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. In terms of connectivity, it offers a dual-SIM card slot, 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and dual-band GPS.
